New in DrugPak Version 6!

After three years of development, DrugPak Version 6 is now available. With the future in mind, the core structure and user interface of DrugPak has been changed to create some dramatic improvements, and to allow for substantial automation features for upcoming releases. With so many changes, it's not possible to enumerate them all, but here are some highlights.

After reviewing the list below, more information may be found at the DrugPak 6 Learning Center. There you can view videos of the new software, read about upgrading, and find classes offered on the new Version 6. Please note that all customers with a current support agreement receive DrugPak Version 6 at no additional charge!

DrugPak Main Module

• Ability to open multiple windows simultaneously. Users can now view test results, participants, companies, collection sites and more simultaneously.
  
• Multiple contacts per company: each contact can have their own addresses, phone numbers, fax numbers, e-mail addresses, notes, web login, and report settings--all from the main company screen
  
• Wizards to assist in creating new companies, home bases, collection sites, and laboratories
  
• View billing information, consortiums, random pools, and home bases for any company from one screen
  
• Optionally adjustment random selection rates based on prior performance
  
• New test status editing: do you prefer "Passed / Failed" over "Negative / Positive?" Use your own wording for a test result
  
• Substance panels can be combined with Test Classes and Test Statuses for more flexible reporting. For instance, create a battery of up to 14 tests for a fitness test (Left arm, right arm, left shoulder, right shoulder, right leg, left leg, back, hearing, vision, etc) with appropriate test status for each.
  
• More custom fields: additional custom fields added to all data entry screens to allow more flexibility for your particular needs.
  
• Report settings for individual contacts: Each report's settings (such as sorting, ordering Social Security number masking) can be customized per recipient.
  
• On-demand and periodic reports: pre-assign reports to be printed on a schedule such as daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly.
  
• System-wide or report-specific Social Security number masking. Choose formats such as XXX-33-3333 or XXX-XX-3333.
  
• Automatically cancel all uncollected randoms for a participant who is terminated, or all uncollected tests for a prior random selection during the next draw.
  
• New data dictionary allows for more flexible record viewing and reports. For instance, print a result list of all test results for any collection site in Texas.
  
• More user-friendly filters for records and reports. For instance, when creating a filter there's no need to remember that "O" represents "Not Performed." Now you can choose "Not Performed" from a list.
  

DrugPak Billing Module

• The DrugPak Billing module has been completely redesigned. Most features have been moved into the DrugPak main module (still priced separately).
• View, edit, and perform all billing functions from within the Main Module
• View, edit, and assign 'billees' directly from the company screen.
• Assign simple price schedules, create custom rules, view billing history, and reprint invoices directly from the company screen.
• Assign separate lab, collection site, and miscellaneous charges directly from the company screen.
• Add additional miscellaneous charges to a specific test directly on the test result entry screen.
• Ability to create multiple invoices with different pricing for the same tests to different entities.
• Ability to "break-up" tests into different components (collection, testing, etc.) and invoice different contacts based on a variety of situations and needs.
• New "Price Schedules" for easier assignment of prices where there are several common prices structures.
• New "Billing Rule Sets" create virtually unlimited flexibility in actions that take place based on specified conditions. For instance, automatically change the price of a test, the description, to whom it is invoiced, or even eliminate it from any invoicing altogether based on any related value stored in a test result field.
  

DrugPak Informer Module

• DP Informer module has been completely redesigned. It is now integrated into the Main Module (still priced separately).
• In addition to test results, DP Informer can now send almost any DrugPak report (random selection lists, MIS reports, program statistics, participant lists, activity summaries) via e-mail or fax.
• Assign reports to contacts for any number of companies, each with their own settings. Assign a report for a contact to be faxed, e-mailed, or both. Configure specific report settings for each contact.
• Choose reports to be sent on-demand or periodically, such as daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly.
• All the settings that are available in a 5.5 report can now be assigned specifically to each contact
• New "Cut-off" dates. If you've never previously sent results, just set the date and time of desired new reports and all previous information is ignored, without worrying about date ranges.
• A new, easier method to send a prior reported test with the next batch of new tests.
• The powerful combination of new contacts in the Main Module, new filtering capabilities, and the ability for almost any report to be faxed or e-mailed creates endless possibilities!
  

DrugPak Document Manager Module

• Move images from the core DrugPak database to other drive sources, to improve performance by archiving infrequently accessed documents.
• Import utility when importing images from a file. Example: You receive CCFs from collection sites in your fax software. Save the CCF image from your fax software to a file, for later batch importing into Document Manager.
  

MRO Management Module

• Optionally automatically export test results test results that have no exceptions (DOT, Non-DOT, or both) to the Main Module
  

DP Live Module

• The DP Live web module has been completely redesigned. It is now integrated into the Main Module (priced separately).
• All DP Live administrative functions are now available as a menu within the Main Module.
